Hypaethral Records has just announced the official release dates for the debut double LP by Los Angeles, CA based atmospheric funeral doom quintet QAALM. The aptly named “Resilience & Despair” will see it’s first track stream go live on 2/24/2022 accompanied by pre-orders for the double LP. The official release date for the full album is 4/15/2022.

Combining the crushing heaviness of sludge, the melancholic harmonies of funeral doom, with the atmosphere and intensity of black metal, QAALM have created a gloomy, depressive, and unique interpretation of the doom metal genre.
